Girl group Orange Caramel (Raina, Nana, Lizzy) will perform abroad for the first time.

Orange Caramel, who captured the public’s hearts with their bubbly costumes, choreography, and unique lyrics, will debut in Asia starting in Japan.

The group released “Magic Girl” in June, 2010, and gave unique and different performances from their main group, After School. Orange Caramel will perform abroad for the first time in two years since their debut.

Since the group was formed as a global project group, they planed different strategies for each Asian country. They have already sang “Magic Girl” with canes, “Bangkok City” in Thailand, and “Shanghai Romance” in China with a kung fu dance.

Orange Caramel will release their Japanese debut song in August. Unlike other K-pop girl groups, who give unconventional and sexy performances, Orange Caramel will show off heir fresh and bubbly charms.

On April 27, a spokesperson for Pledis Entertainment said, “Since no other K-pop groups wear vivid costumes and big ribbons to give bubbly performance, the group is drawing a lot of attention in Japan. The group will have a lot of presence as a unique girl group.”

Orange Caramel held a global fan meeting in January through their radio program Bang Bang School. The group will also change their name when they debut in China in order to become a more familiar group.
