According to an announcement by SM Entertainment on December 31, British singer/songwriter Pixie Lott wrote the song “Baby Maybe,” which will be included on SNSD’s fourth EP, I Got A Boy. The song is about a girl who is in love. The bright melodies and lyrics by Sooyoung, Yuri, and Seohyun will impress the group’s fans.

Pixie is well known in Korea for the song “Mama Do,” which Lee Hi sang on SBS’sK-pop Star. She also performed together with GD and TOP on “Dancing On My Own.”

In addition to Pixie, such renowned songwriters as Dsign Music, Joe Belmaati, Yoo Young Jin, and Kenzie have done songs for SNSD.

The title song of the new album, “I Got A Boy,” is an electronic dance song with an addictive melody. The lyrics are about girls chatting about their daily lives.

The new EP will contain ten songs. Yuri and Seohyun wrote the lyrics for “XYZ,” and Taeyeon and Tiffany sing “Glass Child” as a duet. The Korean version of the Japanese song “Boomerang” will be also included.

SNSD released a teaser video on December 31 on their official website, YouTube, SM Town, Twitter, and Naver prior to their EP release.
