Hearing for divorce between director Hong Sang-soo and his wife (Refer to A) resumes. As it is reportedly known that Hong had filed the lawsuit against A to marry Kim Min-hee and the attention is rising.
According to a source in law industry, the committee denied the divorce case because the Hong and A failed to come to an agreement on their divorce terms at mediation gathering.
It is November 2011 when Hong first filed the lawsuit. A refused to receive any relevant documents, the court decided to go for a trial, judging it cannot be solved through mediation. But in January, A appointed a lawyer and seemed to prepare for trial. As a result, the court sent the case to mediation, but the mediation has failed.
