TWS's second mini-album surpasses 500,000 sales in the first week.

The boy group TWS (members: Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) recorded nearly double the initial sales of their debut album with their second mini-album 'SUMMER BEAT!'.

According to Hanteo Chart, a music sales tracking site, TWS's mini-album 'SUMMER BEAT!', released on the 24th of last month, sold a total of 513,892 copies in its first week (sales period: June 24 - June 30). Considering that their first mini-album 'Sparkling Blue' had first-week sales of 260,881 copies, this is a remarkable growth. With their debut being less than six months ago, surpassing a combined cumulative album sales of 1 million copies (based on Hanteo Chart) seems imminent.

TWS's album is receiving positive responses not only domestically but also in Japan. 'SUMMER BEAT!' ranked first on Oricon's 'Daily Album Ranking' on June 24 and maintained a top position, ranking second on the latest chart (June 29).

The long-term success of their debut title track 'First Meeting Doesn't Go As Planned' has driven the growth of 'SUMMER BEAT!'. Pledis Entertainment, their agency, stated, "The long-lasting popularity of 'First Meeting' had a significant impact. The 'long-run popularity' of this song has spread not only among K-pop enthusiasts but also to the general public, leading to an overall increase in TWS's fan base."
