BTS's Jimin has made a stunning debut with his solo pre-release track "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band," dominating Spotify worldwide and setting the record for the highest-streamed K-pop song of 2024.

Released on June 28 at 1 PM, "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" garnered over 6.62 million filtered streams on its first day on Spotify, placing it at number 4 on the Spotify Global Daily Top Songs chart. The track also topped the charts in 43 countries, including South Korea, the United States, and Thailand, marking the highest debut record for a K-pop song in 2024. Despite the group's hiatus for military service, Jimin's unwavering popularity is evident. 

As of the 28th, he ranked 40th on the Spotify Global Daily Top Artists chart, the highest position for a K-pop artist, standing alongside global pop stars. Additionally, rapper Loco, who featured on "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band," made his debut on the Spotify Global Artists chart at 138th, drawing attention.

"Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" also appeared on the U.S. Spotify Daily Top Songs chart at number 41 with 751,141 streams on the 28th, marking the highest rank for a K-pop song in 2024. The track joined the chart alongside "Like Crazy," which has remained on the chart for 250 days, currently at 81st position.
