On the 22nd, YG Entertainment posted 'YG Announcement 2NE1 / 2025 YG PLAN' on its official blog. The video features Yang Hyun-suk officially confirming the collaboration with 2NE1 on their 15th anniversary and directly introducing their future activity plans. Previously, YG had announced that Yang Hyun-suk and the four members of 2NE1 had held an official meeting for the first time in about eight years at YG's new headquarters in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul.
