SM's Nævis will make debut in September

SM's Nævis will make her debut in September, officially stepping into the real world.

Nævis, presented by SM's Virtual IP Center, first appeared as a character in the storyline of aespa, where she acted as an assistant to the four members by using her ability to open the P.O.S (Port of Soul), allowing them to travel between the real world and the digital world (known as Kwangya). In September, she is set to embark on various activities as an artist. Notably, nævis is a flexible character who will actively leverage the latest technology to adapt across various platforms, content, and media. 

Her voice is created through AI voice technology, and she will produce content using generative AI. In addition to music, nævis plans to expand her IP universe through collaborations in webtoons, games, various brands, and merchandise, generating much anticipation.

On the 21st at midnight, an immersive teaser video depicting nævis's journey from the digital world to the real world via the P.O.S was released on her official YouTube channel and social media platforms. On the 23rd, another video titled "The Birth of nævis," showcasing her transformation in the real world, will also be unveiled, heightening expectations.

Nævis has also launched an official website, where all the upcoming teaser content will be available for fans to explore as they are gradually released.
