BTS's Jin has demonstrated his immense popularity by achieving 11 consecutive days at number one on Japan's Shazam chart with his first solo single, "The Astronaut."

The song topped the Shazam "Japan TOP 200" chart from July 30 to August 9, marking a total of 344 days at number one, a remarkable record. "The Astronaut" first reclaimed the number one spot on the Shazam "Japan TOP 200" chart on April 5, followed by another day at number one on April 6. It again reached the top position on June 7, staying at number one for four consecutive days until June 10, and then for five consecutive days from June 21 to June 25, showcasing its strong performance.

On July 19, "The Astronaut" surpassed 17 million Shazams, and as of 6 a.m. on August 22, it had accumulated over 17.08 million Shazams, solidifying Jin's reputation as the "Shazam King." Jin's first solo OST, "Yours," has also surpassed 13.42 million Shazams, making Jin the only artist with two songs, "The Astronaut" and "Yours," both exceeding 13 million Shazams.

"The Astronaut" debuted on the Shazam "Global TOP 200" chart and held the number one spot for a total of 129 days, surpassing the previous record of 102 days held by "Yours," making it the longest-running number one song in K-pop history on this chart.

Jin is the first and only K-pop solo artist to have two solo songs reach number one on Shazam, further proving his global influence with a record of 60 consecutive days at the top.
