‘Hurt’ Surpasses 200 Million Streams on Spotify, NewJeans' 9th Song to Achieve This Milestone

According to the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, on the 16th, the track "Hurt" from NewJeans' debut album New Jeans reached a total of 200,023,737 streams as of the 14th. This makes "Hurt" the group's ninth song to surpass 200 million streams.

"Hurt" is an R&B track with a groovy drum beat and soft, sweet vocals, evoking a dreamy yet lovely atmosphere. The members' chorus, which gives off an a cappella vibe, is particularly impressive. Their track "OMG" has been streamed over 700 million times, "Ditto" and "Super Shy" over 600 million times each, "Hype Boy" over 500 million times, "Attention" over 400 million times, and "New Jeans," "ETA," "Cookie," and "Hurt" each over 200 million times. Additionally, "Cool With You," "ASAP," "Get Up," and "How Sweet" have each surpassed 100 million streams. The cumulative total of all NewJeans' songs on Spotify is nearing 5.1 billion streams.

Meanwhile, on the 13th, NewJeans celebrated their third Chuseok (Korean harvest festival) with their fandom, Bunnies, by posting photos of the members wearing traditional hanbok on their official social media. The members, dressed in hanbok with calm tones, exuded elegance against the backdrop of a hanok (traditional Korean house), drawing attention.
