Rainy Days Exceed 280 million streams

BTS's V has surpassed 280 million streams on Spotify with his song "Rainy Days," highlighting his global popularity.

As of September 16, V's solo track "Rainy Days," from his solo album Layover, has accumulated 282 million streams on the world's largest music platform, Spotify. "Rainy Days," an alternative pop R&B track, stands out with its unique blend of vintage percussive sounds and modern drum elements, creating a distinctive atmosphere. The song showcases V's soft, emotional vocals. U.S. music magazine Rolling Stone recognized "Rainy Days" as one of the "100 Best Songs of 2023," ranking it 58th overall and making it the highest-ranked K-pop solo song.

Rolling Stone praised the track, stating, "V fully demonstrates his skills in 'Rainy Days,' which features an old-school sound. He finds a refined depth in his baritone voice, singing softly and smoothly along with the melancholic piano melody and laid-back beat, as if walking through clouds."

The "Rainy Days" music video enhances the song's relaxed vibe by depicting V in everyday scenes—waking up, preparing meals, working, and napping—immersing the viewer in a calm, peaceful mood.

"Rainy Days" has reached No. 1 on iTunes in 103 countries, continuing its long-running success. V now holds the record of having six solo tracks top the iTunes charts in over 100 countries.
