The girl group aespa has teased their new album Whiplash with a sneak peek.

Since October 1, aespa has been raising anticipation for their comeback by releasing short-form videos on various official social media channels, showcasing a snippet of the title track from their fifth mini-album, Whiplash. They’ve also launched a website promotion that includes an interactive feature called the "WHIPMIXER (MY Remix Ver.)," allowing fans to manipulate a mechanical model to mix and download parts of the Whiplash track, which has been met with enthusiastic reactions.

The mini-album Whiplash includes six tracks, featuring not only the title track but also various genres, allowing fans to fully experience aespa’s unique musical style, which includes their signature "metallic sound." The album will be available for streaming on various music platforms at 6 PM on October 21, with a physical album release on the same day.
