The girl group ILLIT captivated global fans with their unique charm during their fan showcase for the release of their second mini-album I'LL LIKE YOU.

On October 23, ILLIT (members Yuna, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, and Iroha) held a fan showcase at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their new album. The event was also livestreamed on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel and the global fan platform Weverse, allowing fans worldwide to join in. The group invited their fandom, "GLLIT," into their cozy "hideout," treating them to performances of new songs and engaging in various interactive segments. The warm atmosphere was heightened as the members moved close to the audience, making direct eye contact with fans, which fueled the excitement from the very beginning.

The first segment of the showcase, "Cabinet Talk," involved the members answering fan questions by picking them out from a cabinet they had personally decorated. When asked to describe their new album in five words, they responded with cute and playful answers like "Completely ILLIT," "ILLIT itself," "Sparkling," "We’re moving forward," and "Only thinking of GLLIT," drawing enthusiastic reactions from the audience. The group expressed their affection for their fans, saying, "We prepared this album while only thinking of GLLIT. We wanted to show our diverse sides, and every element of this album is special."

The performances of their new songs further intensified the showcase’s energy. The first-ever performances of Tick-Tack and IYKYK (If You Know You Know) impressed fans with their lively choreography and vibrant energy. When the intro to their title track Cherish (My Love) began, the fans’ cheers reached their peak. The five members showcased their bold and honest personas with a catchy hook and a confident, magical girl vibe.

At the end of the showcase, ILLIT expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thank you, GLLIT. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy the stage. We will continue to grow and repay you with even more amazing performances."

Since the release of their second mini-album I'LL LIKE YOU, ILLIT has seen a surge in global popularity. The album sold over 330,000 copies within two days (based on Hanteo chart), signaling their second "half-million seller" milestone. Their title track Cherish (My Love) has secured top positions on major domestic charts like Bugs and Genie, and it also appeared on Spotify’s "Daily Top Songs" chart in seven countries/regions as of October 23.
