BIBI and Jeon Jong-seo showcase bold chemistry in "DERRE" MV as high school students. Ahead of her comeback, BIBI teams up with popular actress Jeon Jong-seo.

The two will appear together in the music video for BIBI’s double single title track “DERRE,” set for release on the 14th. With deep gazes and a mysterious vibe, they intensify the song's narrative. The teaser, released on the 7th, highlights the two in school uniforms, delivering a unique performance. Their subtle chemistry and Jeon Jong-seo’s charisma intrigue viewers, creating anticipation for the storyline between their characters. The video captures their tension-filled and witty acting, further raising expectations for the full MV.

BIBI has been known for her multi-dimensional storytelling through music, acting, and writing, and this time, she aims to convey various interpretations of love through music, performance, and visual storytelling.

The "DERRE" MV combines black comedy to portray a "tsundere" style of love. It mixes suspense with classic film aesthetics and modern elements, balancing contrasting moods to enhance immersion. Director Kim Hyun-soo of SEGADIVIDEO praised BIBI’s quirky and eccentric facial expressions, and commended Jeon Jong-seo for her professional, one-take performances.

"DERRE" is an R&B track with a danceable beat, highlighted by BIBI’s unique voice. As her first release since the “Bbyongyang” phenomenon, it’s expected to attract considerable attention. The song explores the emotions of a “tsundere” personality experiencing love. Produced in collaboration with FRNK, known for hit songs like NewJeans’ “OMG” and “Cookie,” it has already generated buzz.

The other track, “BURN IT,” is a distinctive R&B song featuring DEAN, showcasing a captivating blend with BIBI. BIBI contributed to the lyrics and composition of both songs, once again affirming her unique presence.

Meanwhile, BIBI will attend the "9th Asia Artist Awards" (AAA 2024) on December 27, held at Impact Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand.

For AAA2024, actor Ryu Jun-yeol will co-host alongside IVE’s Jang Won-young and ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han-bin.
