KISS OF LIFE’s 'Igloo' Climbs the Charts as a Reverse Hit Gains Momentum

Girl group KISS OF LIFE is experiencing another remarkable chart resurgence.

Their track “Igloo” from the recently released third mini album Lose Yourself has gained widespread popularity on domestic and international charts. As of the morning of the 11th, “Igloo” ranked 63rd on Melon’s TOP 100 chart and has made appearances on major Korean charts such as Bugs, FLO, and Genie. The song is also charting on Spotify’s daily charts in South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, as well as on Apple Music in South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. On YouTube Music’s weekly chart, “Igloo” climbed to No. 8 in Korea and continues to rise in Asian regions such as Nigeria and Indonesia.

“Igloo” is an R&B hip-hop track with a message about melting even an igloo that doesn’t thaw, symbolizing their unique charm. The track stands out with edgy rap, a catchy melody, and dreamy vocals. The confident attitude and chic vibe, along with signature choreography, have sparked numerous dance challenges, fueling the popularity of both “Igloo” and the album’s title track, "Get Loud."

Previously, KISS OF LIFE's debut album title track “Shhh” and Natty's solo track “Sugarcoat” saw unexpected chart resurgences at the end of their promotional period. The second mini album Born to be XX also demonstrated longevity, with title track "bad News" and double title track "Nobody Knows" re-entering charts months post-release. Now, with the third mini album Lose Yourself, KISS OF LIFE is solidifying their reputation as reverse-charting icons.
