NCT DREAM Creates Buzz with DREAMSCAPE: Tops Circle Charts and Wins Music Show Trophy
Boy group NCT DREAM (under SM Entertainment) continues their streak of success with their 4th full-length album, DREAMSCAPE. Released on November 11, the album secured first place in two categories—Download and Retail Album—on the Circle Weekly Chart announced today (November 21). Additionally, the title track, "When I'm With You," earned them a music show trophy on MBC M's Show Champion, signaling immense popularity right from their comeback.
The group will continue their promotions in the second week of their comeback by performing on major music shows, including KBS 2TV's Music Bank on November 22, MBC's Show! Music Core on November 23, and SBS's Inkigayo on November 24. Alongside "When I'm With You," they will also showcase performances of the album track "Flying Kiss."
"Flying Kiss" blends rock and Afro-inspired elements to create a dynamic pop sound. The song features lyrics written solely by member Haechan, portraying the message, "Every moment with you is as beautiful as petals scattering in the wind," with vivid and emotional imagery.
The performance for "Flying Kiss" enhances its poetic mood with choreography that incorporates sign language to depict lyrics like "butterfly" and "all day," as well as intuitive hand movements matching the word "kiss." The graceful, dance-like moves complement the song's lyrical tone, while the energetic beats and rhythm in the latter part of the performance heighten its emotional impact.
NCT DREAM's 4th full-length album, DREAMSCAPE, comprises a total of 11 tracks, including the title song "When I'm With You." The album explores interconnected themes of excitement, fear, and freedom experienced in an idealized world, receiving widespread acclaim.
