Jennie's 'Mantra' Music Video Surpasses 100 Million Views, Sustains Long-Running Popularity
The music video for Jennie’s single Mantra has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, continuing its remarkable success. Released on October 11, the video reached this milestone on November 25 at approximately 12:05 a.m., achieving the feat in just 45 days.
Upon its release, the Mantra music video soared to the top of trending videos on YouTube in both South Korea and the United States, and claimed the number one spot on YouTube's Worldwide Trending. The song carries a powerful and energetic message, encouraging individuals to shine in their own way, embrace their unique charm, and support one another in self-love and confidence.
Mantra also made a significant impact on global music charts. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks and remained on both the Global (Excluding U.S.) and Global 200 charts for five consecutive weeks. Jennie became the first K-pop female solo artist this year to top the U.S. iTunes Top Songs chart with Mantra.
Earlier this year, Jennie reached a historic milestone with her solo track SOLO, as its music video surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube in April. She became the first K-pop female artist to achieve this feat.
Additionally, Jennie is set to perform as a solo artist at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the U.S., held in Indio, California. She is scheduled to perform on April 13 and 20, 2024, as part of the festival’s lineup.
