The girl group BabyMonster is fueling the growing popularity of their new song "DRIP" by appearing on major Japanese terrestrial music programs.

According to YG Entertainment, BabyMonster will perform the title track of their first full-length album, "DRIP," live on TV Asahi's "Music Station" (commonly referred to as "M-Ste") on the 29th. This iconic Japanese music program, with a 38-year history, has hosted top local and global stars alike. BabyMonster previously showcased their monstrous rookie potential with a performance of the title track "SHEESH" from their debut album BABYMONS7ER on the same stage. Their impressive live performance skills, which drew attention at the time, have set high expectations for their "DRIP" stage.

This time, BabyMonster will perform the Korean version of the song with handheld microphones, showing off their upgraded skills and aiming to captivate local music fans. Additionally, the group will appear on NHK's "Venue101" on the 30th and Fuji TV's "Weekly Nainai Music" on December 11th, marking the start of their full-scale promotional activities in Japan.

BabyMonster has already achieved remarkable success in Japan with their first full-length album, [DRIP]. Upon its release, the album topped Japan's iTunes Top Albums Chart and the real-time Top 100 Albums Chart on LINE MUSIC, Japan's largest streaming platform. It also ranked high on major charts from Oricon and Billboard Japan.

The ongoing "DRIP" pop-up store tour across four cities—Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, and Fukuoka—has drawn massive crowds daily. Furthermore, the group's debut world tour in 2025 will include performances in four Japanese cities (Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka), further highlighting their strong local popularity.

Meanwhile, BabyMonster released their first full-length album, "DRIP," on the 1st of this month and has been actively promoting it. The title track "DRIP" continues to climb domestic music charts, including Melon TOP100. Riding on this momentum, the group plans to connect with fans through their follow-up song, "Love In My Heart," until the end of the year.
