Jimin has achieved a groundbreaking record
BTS’s Jimin has achieved a groundbreaking record on Spotify Korea’s charts, solidifying his unmatched popularity.
On December 7, Spotify announced that Jimin reached his 500th No. 1 on the Spotify Korea 'Daily Top Artist' chart, becoming the first and only artist to achieve this milestone. He also marked his 73rd No. 1 on the 'Weekly Top Artist' chart, where he continues to break his own record for the most weeks at No. 1.
The title track "Who" from Jimin’s second solo album MUSE, released on July 19, debuted at No. 1 on Spotify Korea's 'Daily Top Songs' chart. Despite no official promotions, the song has maintained its top position for 144 consecutive days as of the December 9 chart update. Notably, Jimin’s previous title track, "Like Crazy" from his first solo album FACE, holds the record for the most days at No. 1 on the same chart, with 268 days. With "Who" now holding the second-highest record, Jimin owns both the top two spots in chart history.
To date, Jimin has accumulated a total of 446 days at No. 1 on the 'Daily Top Songs' chart, further cementing his status as the artist with the most No. 1s. Additionally, according to Spotify's 2024 Wrapped year-end campaign, Jimin was the most-streamed artist in Korea for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024).
