BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' IN JAPAN Begin
BOYNEXTDOOR has showcased their impressive ticket-selling power, with all shows for their first solo tour in Japan selling out completely.
The group—comprising Sungho, Riu, Myung Jae-hyun, Taesan, Lee Han, and Woonhak—will begin their 'BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' IN JAPAN' on January 30 in Tokyo, followed by stops in Aichi (February 2), Osaka (February 8-9), Miyagi (February 15), Fukuoka (February 18-19), and Kanagawa (February 22-24). The tour spans 6 cities and 12 performances, all of which sold out, reflecting the group's rapidly growing fanbase and nationwide appeal in Japan despite their rookie status.
BOYNEXTDOOR has recently experienced explosive growth in Japan. According to Billboard Japan's 2024 year-end charts (covering November 27, 2023, to November 24, 2024), their third mini-album '19.99' ranked 33rd on the 'Hot Albums' chart, the highest rank achieved by a 5th-generation K-pop group. The album surpassed 100,000 shipments in Japan, earning a Gold Disc 'Gold' certification as of September 2024. It also achieved consecutive two-time weekly No. 1 rankings on the Oricon chart following their previous release, 'HOW?'.
Known for their strengths in music and performance, BOYNEXTDOOR is expected to captivate fans across multiple regions with this tour, accelerating their growth trajectory and solidifying their presence as a rising force in K-pop.
