SEVENTEEN Ranked 31st on Billboard’s Year-End ‘Top Tours’… The Only K-Pop Group
SEVENTEEN has been recognized as the only K-pop artist to make it onto Billboard's year-end ‘Top Tours’ chart, solidifying their global dominance.
According to the 2024 Year-End Boxscore Chart released by Billboard on June 16 (local time), SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) secured the 31st spot on the ‘Top Tours’ chart. This impressive achievement places them alongside world-class artists such as Coldplay, U2, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars, underscoring their elevated status on the global stage. SEVENTEEN also claimed the No. 1 position in the ‘Top Tours’ K-pop category.
In addition, SEVENTEEN was named ‘Stage Kings’ in Consequence of Sound’s “2024 K-pop Yearbook,” further reaffirming their reputation as "masters of performance." Consequence praised the group, stating, “Watching SEVENTEEN on stage, it’s immediately clear that they truly love what they do. After more than a decade together, their passion seems ingrained in their very bloodstreams.”
SEVENTEEN shared their thoughts, saying, “Every performance holds deep meaning for us. We will always do our best to deliver shows that CARAT (fandom name) can be proud of.”
This year, SEVENTEEN has been meeting fans worldwide through their ‘SEVENTEEN 'RIGHT HERE' WORLD TOUR’, which includes 36 solo performances. When factoring in their ongoing Japan Dome Tour, the group’s total annual on- and offline audience is estimated to reach nearly 1.5 million.
SEVENTEEN also made history as the first K-pop artist to perform on the main stage of the U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival, receiving rave reviews from local media. Additionally, they headlined Germany’s Lollapalooza Berlin, showcasing their remarkable global influence.
