BTS’ V Enters Billboard Hot 100 with Christmas Carol
BTS’s V has once again demonstrated his global popularity by entering Billboard’s Hot 100 with a Christmas carol.
According to Billboard, on June 17, V and Bing Crosby’s rendition of “White Christmas (with V of BTS)” debuted at No. 93 on the Hot 100 chart for the week ending December 21. This marks V’s second consecutive week on the chart, following his duet “Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)” from the previous week. All of the songs V has released this winter have successfully entered the Hot 100.
V’s first winter gift, “Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN),” released on November 29, charted at No. 99 last week despite strong competition from traditional holiday carols.
With this achievement, V now has six solo entries on the Hot 100. This year alone, he has placed three songs on the chart: “FRI(END)S,” “Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN),” and “White Christmas (with V of BTS).” Notably, these successes have been achieved without any formal solo promotions, highlighting V’s undeniable influence and global reach.
Released on December 6, “White Christmas (with V of BTS)” reinterprets Bing Crosby’s iconic 1942 classic “White Christmas” with V’s unique style. The song features the warm baritone voices of V and Bing Crosby blending beautifully, offering a heartfelt rendition that resonates deeply with music fans worldwide.
