BTS Jungkook’s Live Broadcast During Vacation Hits 20.2 Million Views—Weverse's All-Time Record

BTS member Jungkook’s live broadcast during his vacation amassed an astounding 20.2 million cumulative views, setting a new record on the global fan platform Weverse since its launch in 2019. The live video also garnered 2.92 billion likes as of 1 PM on December 19. Jungkook broke his previous personal record of 16 million live views, achieved last year, once again surpassing expectations.

Jungkook went live on December 18 at 11:39 PM, beginning with a heartfelt greeting: “I checked and was told I could go live, so I turned on Weverse during my vacation. I missed you all so much, and it’s been a while, so I’m nervous.” He updated fans about his recent activities and gave a tour of his new home, sharing, “I anticipated wanting to do a live broadcast during this break, so I prepared in advance. I’ve been running and weightlifting every day.”

During the live session, Jungkook responded to fans' requests and performed over 30 songs. He opened with Taeyeon’s “To. X” and Block B’s “Where Are You” before moving on to fan-favorites like Rosé’s “APT.” and ILLIT’s “Magnetic.” He also showcased his admiration for BIGBANG by singing G-Dragon’s “Niliria (G-Dragon Ver.)” and “Who You?”

Jungkook further highlighted his bond with BTS members by performing Jin’s recently released “I’ll Be There” and V’s digital single “Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo Shin),” showing their enduring friendship and solidarity.

This record-breaking live session reaffirms Jungkook’s massive global appeal and his dedication to staying connected with fans, even during his personal time.
