"2024: A Year of Growth and New Beginnings" – KISS OF LIFE Reflects on 'AAA 2024' Wins
Girl group KISS OF LIFE (Julie, Natty, Belle, Haneul) once again showcased their presence to fans in Bangkok at the 'AAA 2024.'
On December 27th, the group took the stage at the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024) held at the IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, marking another milestone in their career
This year, KISS OF LIFE cemented themselves as one of the top rookie girl groups, achieving a remarkable career high. As an emerging group from a mid-sized agency, they earned the title of "8-time Rookie Award Winners," climbing to stardom purely through talent and word of mouth in the industry.
With their second mini-album Born to Be XX, the group won a prestigious Korean Music Award, while their hit song Sticky topped domestic music charts and secured two music show wins. Their debut single Midas Touch also made its way onto the Billboard 200, and they were recognized by GRAMMY.com as one of "2024's K-pop Rookies to watch," solidifying their place as a group that balances both musicality and mass appeal.
In an interview with Star News, KISS OF LIFE shared their reflections on an emotional 2024 and their excitement for what lies ahead in 2025.
Belle reflected on their journey:
"2024 was truly a year of growth and experiences. We had multiple comebacks, connected with so many fans, and even embarked on a U.S. tour. The experiences of meeting fans and performing on various stages have made this a year of immense personal and professional growth."
Natty, a native of Thailand, spoke about the significance of performing for her hometown fans at 'AAA 2024':
"To describe 'AAA 2024' in one word, it’s 'the beginning.' This stage is incredibly important to us, and to have the chance to perform in my hometown makes it all the more thrilling and fulfilling." She also collaborated with WayV’s Ten, a fellow Thai artist, for a special stage. She shared:
"When I first came to Korea at 12, I met Ten oppa during a brief training period at the same company. Seeing how far both of us have come and now sharing the stage in our hometown is a precious memory. He helped me a lot as we prepared together. We wanted to showcase the strength of Thailand through our performance."
Julie expressed her excitement for the group’s future:
"As much as we grew through our experiences in 2024, I hope we can bring even better music and more stages to our fans in 2025. We recently wrapped up our U.S. tour, and next year, we’re planning a European tour and more releases. There’s so much to look forward to!"
Haneul encouraged fans to anticipate what’s next for the group:
"We’ve already explored so many concepts and genres, but there’s still so much we haven’t shown yet. Please continue to look forward to the future of KISS OF LIFE."
At 'AAA 2024,' KISS OF LIFE earned two prestigious titles: AAA Best Artist and AAA Best Musician, highlighting their tremendous growth and success. Fans worldwide eagerly await their next chapter.
