NCT WISH attended the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024), held on December 27 at 7 PM (KST) at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand.

On this day, NCT WISH was awarded the AAA Potential Award, solidifying their position as a "rising star" to watch in the future. The group, attending AAA for the first time, appeared visibly excited when they met with Star News at the event. Member Sion shared, "It's our first time participating, so we feel a bit thrilled. We didn’t expect to spend the end of the year in such a warm place, but since it’s our first participation, we’re looking forward to having fun and meaningful moments with many people."

Sakuya also expressed excitement, saying, "I'm so happy to be here with so many incredible artists," as he reflected on their first-time experience at the AAA.

During AAA 2024, NCT WISH showcased performances of their tracks Wish and Steady, radiating the fresh energy of rookies. Ryo confidently remarked, "There’s a choreography involving a desk in the intro, and I think it went really well." Sakuya chimed in, agreeing with his bandmate, and added, "We expected to win an award. Honestly, we wanted to win the rookie award," which drew laughter from those around.
