Onew Tops Domestic and International Charts with Warm Voice and Deep Resonance

SHINee member Onew (ONEW) has soared to the top of domestic and international charts following his much-anticipated comeback.

On January 6, Onew released his 4th mini-album CONNECTION. Upon its release, the album claimed the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 17 countries and regions worldwide, including Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Singapore, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, Peru, Poland, and Ukraine. Additionally, CONNECTION entered the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart at No. 2 and the European iTunes Albums chart at No. 6.

The title track "Winner" has also been met with immense popularity. It topped the real-time charts of major Korean music platforms such as Bugs and entered the Melon HOT100, among other prominent rankings.

CONNECTION emphasizes the organic connection between Onew’s inner and outer worlds. Onew showcased his growth as an artist by directly participating in the production and lyrics for every track on the album. The album evokes forgotten emotions through its diverse themes, leaving a deep and lasting impression.
