ZEROBASEONE Tops Oricon and Billboard Japan Weekly Charts with First Japanese EP ‘PREZENT’

ZEROBASEONE (members Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, Park Gunwook, and Han Yujin) has swept major Japanese charts, sparking another wave of ‘ZB1 fever’ in Japan.

According to Oricon News on February 4, ZEROBASEONE’s first Japanese EP “PREZENT,” released on January 29, recorded estimated sales of approximately 257,000 copies, securing the No. 1 spot on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking for the week of February 10 (tracking period: January 27–February 2). This marks their second No. 1 album after their Korean mini-album “You had me at HELLO.”

Notably, “PREZENT” surpassed the first-week sales of their debut Korean mini-album “YOUTH IN THE SHADE,” setting a new personal record and solidifying their growing popularity in Japan.

ZEROBASEONE also claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard Japan’s latest Top Album Sales weekly chart (tracking period: January 27–February 2), showcasing their explosive momentum as they dominate Japan’s major music charts with overwhelming numbers.

“PREZENT” is a special album designed as a gift to their fans, ZEROSE, in gratitude for the overwhelming support following their Japanese debut. The album features six tracks, including four original Japanese songs and Japanese versions of two Korean title tracks. It has been praised for showcasing ZEROBASEONE’s versatile musical spectrum across various genres.
