BTS’s Jimin Sets Historic Record with 500 Days at No. 1 on Korea’s Spotify Daily Chart with “Who”
Jimin of BTS has made history in K-pop by achieving a remarkable milestone on Spotify Korea’s charts.
According to Spotify’s chart update released on January 31, Jimin’s track "Who" has secured the No. 1 spot for the 500th time on the Korea Daily Top Songs chart. This is the first and only song to ever achieve 500 days at the top of this chart.
The title track from Jimin’s second solo album "MUSE", "Who", shot straight to No. 1 on the daily chart immediately after its release. Despite having no official promotional activities since its launch, the song has maintained its No. 1 position for 200 consecutive days as of the February 3 chart update, demonstrating its long-lasting popularity.
In addition, Jimin’s title track "Like Crazy" from his first solo album "FACE" holds the record for the longest-running No. 1 song on Spotify Korea’s Daily Top Songs chart, staying at the top for a total of 268 days.
Beyond "Who" and "Like Crazy", Jimin has also claimed No. 1 with other tracks, including "Set Me Free Pt.2", "Angel Pt.1", and the English version of "Like Crazy". In total, he has achieved an astounding 504 No. 1 placements on the daily chart with five different songs, showcasing his dominant streaming power.
Furthermore, Jimin holds the record as the first and only artist to reach 500 No. 1 placements on the Spotify Korea Daily Top Artists chart, with the total now standing at 558 No. 1 spots. On the Weekly Top Artists chart, he has claimed the No. 1 position 81 times, solidifying his status as one of Korea’s most influential solo artists.
