BABYMONSTER’s ‘BILLIONAIRE’ MV to Be Released at Midnight on the 7th

YG’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER is finally unveiling the EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO for their track BILLIONAIRE at midnight on February 7.

BILLIONAIRE, the fifth track from their first full-length album [DRIP], blends a sophisticated Y2K pop R&B sound with deep 808 bass and flamenco influences. The song, praised for its bold lyrics about self-worth beyond material possessions and the members' groovy vocals, has already captivated listeners.

As this marks the sixth music video from the album, following DRIP, CLIK CLAK, Love In My Heart, Really Like You, and FOREVER, YG has taken a different approach by focusing entirely on the essence of choreography. Instead of a traditional MV, it will be released under the title EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO.

The EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO is a signature YG performance-centered content series, personally planned and edited by YG’s executive producer, Yang Hyun-suk. These videos are known for their high quality and massive impact, with Lisa’s MONEY surpassing 1 billion views on YouTube as a prime example.

Yang Hyun-suk has poured his efforts into maximizing the quality of BILLIONAIRE. The video will showcase BABYMONSTER’s unique, intricate dance lines, eye-catching moves incorporating strings attached to their outfits, and a visually stunning production. Even an unfinished version of this performance, revealed at their recent Seoul concert, went viral on social media, heightening anticipation for the full release.

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is expanding its global reach through their first world tour, 2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR <HELLO MONSTERS>. After a successful opening concert at the K-pop landmark KSPO DOME in Seoul, they are set to visit 14 cities across the United States, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, and more, performing a total of 23 shows for their international fans.
