IVE Becomes a 5-Time Million Seller, Dominating Both Digital and Physical Charts

IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) has once again achieved million-seller status for the fifth consecutive time.

According to Hanteo Chart, South Korea’s largest album sales tracking platform, IVE’s latest release IVE EMPATHY, which was released on February 3, recorded an impressive 1,048,048 copies in first-week sales. This marks the highest first-week album sales for any K-pop album released this year. With this achievement, IVE continues its streak of million-seller albums, following After LIKE, I've IVE, I'VE MINE, and IVE SWITCH.

Upon release, IVE EMPATHY gained significant attention by ranking No. 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. It also secured the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top K-pop Album Chart in 15 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, and Germany.

The album’s title tracks, REBEL HEART and ATTITUDE, have also been performing exceptionally well. As of 10 AM on February 11, they claimed the No. 1 spot on Melon’s TOP100 and HOT100 (both 100-day and 30-day categories). The tracks have also dominated other major Korean music charts, topping Bugs' real-time, daily, and weekly charts, as well as Genie, FLO, and VIBE’s Today’s Top 100 Chart. With this, IVE has once again proven its ability to produce mega-hit songs.

Furthermore, IVE has secured nine wins on Korean music shows and entered major global charts, including Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excluding U.S. charts, as well as the UK’s Official Charts. Meanwhile, ATTITUDE continues to rise in popularity alongside IVE’s active promotions, ranking No. 1 on VIBE’s Domestic Rising Chart and No. 2 on Bugs’ real-time, daily, and weekly charts as of February 11.

IVE has mesmerized K-pop fans with their stable live performances and addictive choreography, including the Wonyoung Turn, Wiper Dance, and Speeding Guinea Pig (Bokjugi Guinea Pig) Move.

Their latest album, IVE EMPATHY, stays true to IVE’s signature theme of "confident independence" while introducing a new concept of "empathy." Having successfully wrapped up their first week of promotions with ATTITUDE, fans are eagerly anticipating what’s next for the group.

Meanwhile, IVE will continue promoting their third mini-album IVE EMPATHY with ATTITUDE. Member Rei is also set to appear on JTBC’s Hanblli (Han Mooncheol’s Black Box Review) at 8:50 PM on February 11.
