Jimin claimed the top spot in the "K-pop Artist of the Year 2024" poll conducted by the global fan voting platform Shining Awards. With a total of 278,363 votes and an impressive 47.08% of the total votes, he outshone his competitors. As a result of his victory, a donation will be made to worldwide charitable organizations in Jimin’s name, and he will receive a certificate of appreciation for this philanthropic contribution. No.1 on 'Hot 50 World Songs' with 'WHO'
Jimin’s solo 2nd album title track "WHO" has also dominated the "Hot 50 World Songs – January 2024" chart, hosted by King Choice. The voting, held from January 1 to January 31, 2024, saw Jimin’s song receiving 1,338,818 votes out of a total 3,371,585 votes, securing first place for the third time.
Jimin previously set a remarkable record on the "Hot 50 World Songs" chart with:
- "Like Crazy" and "Set Me Free Pt.2" – earning 14 cumulative months at No.1, including 7 consecutive months.
- "Filter" (BTS’s 4th full-length album) – first topped the chart in June 2021.
