BTS members continue to dominate global charts with their solo projects, while anticipation builds for their long-awaited full-group comeback.

According to the latest Billboard charts (dated February 15), Jin’s OST Close to You from the tvN drama Ask the Stars secured the No. 3 spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart for the second consecutive week. His emotional vocals in the main theme song have captivated listeners. Additionally, Jin’s solo album Happy, released in November 2023, ranked No. 17 on the World Albums chart, with its title track Running Wild charting at No. 179 on Global Excl. U.S..

Jimin continues his impressive run on Billboard’s main charts. His second solo album, MUSE, released in July 2023, is currently at No. 131 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the World Albums chart, marking its 29th consecutive week on both. The album’s title track, Who, landed at No. 36 on the Hot 100 and also ranked on several other charts, including Global 200 (No. 22), Global Excl. U.S. (No. 24), and Streaming Songs (No. 27).

Jungkook’s solo single Seven (feat. Latto) remains a global hit, ranking No. 77 on Global Excl. U.S. and No. 122 on Global 200. With 82 and 81 consecutive weeks on these charts, Jungkook holds the record for the longest-charting K-pop soloist in history. He continues to extend his record each week. Meanwhile, V’s Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo Shin) has remained on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for 10 weeks, currently at No. 186.

BTS’ anthology album Proof also remains a strong presence, sitting at No. 6 on the World Albums chart for a remarkable 139 weeks. This sustained success fuels excitement for BTS’ full-group comeback, as their military service hiatus nears its end.

The countdown to BTS' reunion has officially begun. Jin, who was discharged in June 2023, was followed by J-Hope in October. The remaining five members are set to complete their service soon: RM and V will be discharged on June 10, Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, and Suga, who has been serving as a public service worker since September 2023, will be released on June 21.

With their return on the horizon, anticipation is soaring for what’s next for BTS as a group.
