BTS’s Jimin Dominates UK & US Pop Charts, Proving His Solo Career’s Global Impact Even During Military Service

BTS’s Jimin continues to set new records on the world’s top two pop charts, solidifying his career as a solo artist.

Jimin’s song Who ranked #23 on the UK Official Singles Chart, marking its 23rd consecutive week on the chart as of February 7. He is now the longest-charting Korean solo artist on the Official Singles Chart since its 2014 revision, breaking his own record every week. Who also became the second longest-charting K-pop song after BTS’s Dynamite, making Jimin the artist with the longest-charting records in both group and solo categories.

The song also secured #36 on the Official Streaming Chart and #33 on the Official Audio Streaming Chart, maintaining a 28-week streak on both. In the US, Who climbed to #36 on the latest Billboard Hot 100, extending its total to 28 weeks—the longest-charting song by a Korean solo artist on the chart since PSY’s Gangnam Style.

Additionally, Jimin’s album MUSE, which features Who, has remained on the Billboard 200 for 29 weeks, setting a new record for the longest-charting K-pop solo album. He also extended his record as the longest-charting K-pop soloist on the Billboard Artist 100, with a 36-week streak.

Despite currently serving in the military, Jimin continues to make history on the two biggest pop charts—Billboard in the US and the Official Charts in the UK—proving his unwavering global influence as a solo artist.
