BIGBANG’s Taeyang Completes 12-City Global Tour with 120,000 Fans


Taeyang has made a triumphant return to the stage, proving his enduring global popularity.


On February 22 (local time), Taeyang wrapped up his TAEYANG 2025 TOUR [THE LIGHT YEAR] with a final performance in Manila. This global tour marked his first solo concert tour in seven years. The journey began in August 2024 with a spectacular opening show at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Following the successful domestic launch, Taeyang continued to meet his international fans with concerts in Osaka, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei.


Even after the new year began, his tour remained in full swing. In response to overwhelming fan support, Taeyang held an encore concert in South Korea, TAEYANG 2025 TOUR [THE LIGHT YEAR] ENCORE, on February 1-2 at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon. This special event featured an expanded scale and an even more dynamic setlist.


After concluding the encore concerts in Korea, Taeyang continued his journey to Bangkok, Macau, and Manila, where he passionately connected with local fans. Over the course of 17 performances across 12 cities, he drew an impressive total of approximately 123,000 attendees, successfully completing the tour.


Most notably, Taeyang captivated audiences with his commanding stage presence, dazzling performances, and versatility—seamlessly transitioning between high-energy dance tracks and emotionally rich R&B ballads. His irreplaceable artistry shone throughout the tour, thrilling fans who had eagerly awaited his return to the stage.


After successfully completing this six-month-long tour, Taeyang is set to continue his active musical endeavors throughout 2025.
