NMIXX Drops Pre-Release Track ‘High Horse’ and Motion Video Ahead of Comeback
NMIXX has surprised fans by pre-releasing the track “High Horse” from their upcoming mini album Fe3O4: FORWARD, set to drop on March 17.
Leading up to the comeback, the group has been unveiling teaser content—including concept photos, visual films, and tracklists—on their official SNS channels. Among these, two cinematic story films that depict a pre-adventure episode in their universe, featuring a snippet of “High Horse”, have captivated fans worldwide.
The song blends hip-hop, jazz, and pop elements, embodying NMIXX’s signature genre-mixing (MIXX) style. With its release on March 4 at 6 PM KST, “High Horse” has already ignited excitement among listeners. The track features a unique rhythm that intertwines emotional ballad-like piano melodies with breakbeats, highlighting NMIXX’s vocal prowess and diverse musical range.
On March 5 at midnight, the group also unveiled motion video content titled “Our New Ship Project: MMU” and “MMU Departure Announcement”, delivering a multisensory experience. The cinematic visuals introduced MMU, a grand ship first revealed in the story film’s blueprint. As it sets sail toward MIXXTOPIA, its breathtaking scale and majestic beauty added to the anticipation.
Additionally, members Haewon and Lily narrated in Korean and English, respectively, providing an immersive experience:
"This ship is fueled by your diverse emotions. We have prepared various events that will allow you to experience a wide range of feelings. We hope this journey to MIXXTOPIA becomes an unforgettable adventure for all passengers on board."
NMIXX will make their official comeback on March 17 at 6 PM KST with their highly anticipated title track “KNOW ABOUT ME”, further solidifying their status as an all-rounder “hexagonal girl group.”
