Rookie boy group CLOSE YOUR EYES (Jeon Minwook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeojoon, Kim Seongmin, Song Seungho, Kenshin, Seo Kyungbae) is officially in the final stages of preparation for their debut.
On March 6 and 7, their agency, UNKORE, released concept photos for their first mini-album, ETERNALT, via the group’s official social media channels. The images immediately captured fans' attention, featuring the members in a vintage yet elegant interior setting. Each member showcased visuals worthy of a center position, paired with captivating gazes that struck a chord with global fans, sparking an enthusiastic response.
In another set of photos, CLOSE YOUR EYES radiates fresh springtime energy, basking in the sunlight under a clear blue sky. The members were also seen embracing a sporty, youthful aesthetic while seemingly enjoying a nature trek, further amplifying excitement for their upcoming debut.
Despite being their first concept shoot, the members exuded confidence and charisma, hinting at the emergence of a new "super rookie" group set to dominate the K-pop scene this spring. CLOSE YOUR EYES was formed through JTBC’s audition program Project 7, and their name carries a profound meaning. It signifies not only delivering visually captivating performances but also creating music that remains compelling even when listened to with closed eyes. Additionally, it represents their goal of continuously evolving into an idol group that aligns with fans' dreams every time they open their eyes.
Following the release of their logo motion video on March 3 and a trailer video on March 5, the unveiling of their concept photos has further heightened anticipation for their official debut. Their album title, ETERNALT, is a combination of eternal and time (T), symbolizing the members' wish to share an everlasting journey with their fans.
CLOSE YOUR EYES’ first mini-album, ETERNALT, is set to drop on April 2 at 6 PM KST on various music streaming platforms.
