JENNIE’s ‘Ruby’ Sets Highest First-Week Sales Record for a K-Pop Female Soloist This Year

According to Hanteo Chart on the 14th, Ruby sold 661,130 copies in its first week (March 7–March 13) after its release on the 7th. This achievement makes JENNIE the highest first-week seller among K-pop female solo artists in 2024.
JENNIE also made history with Ruby on Apple Music, ranking at No. 9 on the U.S. Top Albums chart—the highest placement ever for a K-pop solo artist. Additionally, she secured the No. 2 spot on the European Top Albums chart, marking the highest rank for a female K-pop soloist.
The title track like JENNIE continues its strong performance, climbing the charts both domestically and internationally. It remains at the top of major Korean music platforms and debuted at No. 12 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart, quickly rising to No. 7, showcasing its unstoppable popularity.
Not just the title track, but all songs from Ruby, including the pre-released Handlebars (feat. Dua Lipa), ExtraL (feat. Doechii), and Love Hangover (feat. Dominic Fike), are receiving immense love, dominating the upper ranks of major charts.
