J-Hope Heats Up Mexico with ‘MONA LISA’… Live Performance Video Released
BTS’s J-Hope ignited Mexico with ‘MONA LISA.’
On March 24th at 11 PM (KST), J-Hope released a live performance video of his new song ‘MONA LISA’ on the official team YouTube channel. The video was filmed during J-Hope’s solo tour ‘j-hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ in MEXICO CITY’ held at ‘PALACIO DE LOS DEPORTES’ in Mexico City on March 23rd and 24th.
As the intro to ‘MONA LISA’ began at the concert venue, deafening cheers erupted from the audience. Despite the song being released only three days prior, the audience sang along to every lyric from the beginning, and J-Hope responded to the enthusiastic energy with flawless vocals and choreography. Throughout the day, the audience filled the venue with massive singalongs, not only for the new song ‘MONA LISA’ but for every stage from the opening to the finale. At the end of the performance, J-Hope shared, “I was so surprised, and today’s stage was made by all of you.”
The two-day concerts in Mexico City were sold out, demonstrating immense interest. J-Hope’s North American tour, which began on March 14th and 15th at the BARCLAYS CENTER in Brooklyn, has continued its sold-out streak in Brooklyn, Chicago, and now Mexico City.
