ILLIT Named New Faces of Pocari Sweat

The rising group ILLIT has become the new face of Pocari Sweat, the iconic ion beverage symbolizing a clear and pure image.

According to their agency, BELIFT LAB, on the 26th, ILLIT (YoonA, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha) has been selected as the 30th model for Dong-A Otsuka’s Pocari Sweat. Previously, member Wonhee had served as the brand’s 29th model. This team (girl group) contract is only the second in Pocari Sweat’s history since TWICE in 2017.

Pocari Sweat stated, “ILLIT is a group with bright and lively charm, which aligns well with the brand’s refreshing and healthy image.” They added, “We believe that the brand’s message of supporting the individuality and youth of teenagers who confidently pursue their own paths will be well conveyed through ILLIT.”

Pocari Sweat advertisements are known as a “star launchpad,” having featured many popular stars throughout the years. Previous models include actresses Son Ye-jin, Han Ji-min, Park Shin-hye, and Kim So-hyun, as well as the group TWICE. ILLIT also demonstrated their presence as a “teen icon” leading trends by representing the independent and ambitious image of teenagers. 

Meanwhile, ILLIT celebrated their first anniversary on the 25th and continues to receive consistent love both domestically and internationally. They recently won the “Best New Artist (K-Pop)” award, equivalent to a rookie award, at the American music awards show ‘2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.’ In addition, they achieved a total of 13 awards, including 7 rookie awards, at major music awards shows in Korea and Japan.
