The "Gen Z Beauty" group KiiiKiii (Jiwoo, Isol, Suui, Haum, and Kiya, under Starship Entertainment) is gaining attention for their consistently impressive live performances during recent radio appearances.
KiiiKiii recently appeared as guests on SBS PowerFM's "Two Escape Cult Show" (hereafter "Cult Show"), KBS CoolFM's "Park Myung-soo's Radio Show," and SBS PowerFM's "Wendy's Young Street" (hereafter "Young Street"), captivating listeners with their honest and lively charm as well as their solid live vocal skills. Especially, with each broadcast, they showcased increasingly perfect live performances, renewing their "legendary live" status and demonstrating their potential as "monster rookies."
First, KiiiKiii debuted their first radio live performance on "Cult Show" on the 26th of last month. Despite being their first time, they confidently performed their debut album "UNCUT GEM"'s title track "I DO ME," and displayed a composure beyond their rookie status with their clever gestures. Their activities continued on "Park Myung-soo's Radio Show" on the 31st. When Park Myung-soo asked if the label of "Best Rookie of the Year" was a burden, the members responded that they would enjoy the title of "Super Rookie" instead, and proved their confidence with a refreshing and stable live performance of "I DO ME" and a hip performance of their track "BTG," once again becoming a hot topic.
On "Young Street" on the 1st, KiiiKiii's musical talent shone even brighter. The members delivered a live performance of "I DO ME" that sounded just like the original recording, followed by a cappella performances of "BTG" and "THERE THEY GO," revealing their delicate and unique vocals. In particular, Jiwoo showcased her powerful and impactful rapping, living up to the title of "Intro Master," while Suui and Haum boasted their dreamy vocals, leaving a strong impression with just a single line.
Furthermore, KiiiKiii captivated not only the listeners but also the on-air DJs with their honest and cheerful conversation. They shared stories about their school days before their debut, the reasons they dreamed of becoming idols, behind-the-scenes stories of their casting, and their first impressions of each other, drawing attention. They also reflected on their growth from pre-debut to official debut activities, further raising expectations for KiiiKiii's future.
Meanwhile, KiiiKiii plans to continue various activities, including performances on music shows, with "BTG."
