SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo has enlisted today, April 3rd, to begin his mandatory military service.

According to his agency, Pledis Entertainment, Wonwoo entered the training center today to fulfill his military duty. He will undergo basic military training.

Ahead of his enlistment, on April 2nd, he left a message for fans on the fan community Weverse.

Wonwoo said, “It feels like just yesterday I said I’d return when my breath clouded in the cold air again, and now it’s already getting a little warmer. Time really flies.” He continued, “But that also means the day we meet again is coming soon, so I hope CARATs spend this time with excitement rather than worry.” He added, “I’ll spend this brief pause well. I’m already looking forward to the next chapter we’ll share together. Thank you always, and I love you so much.”

With this, Wonwoo becomes the second SEVENTEEN member to enlist for military service, following Jeonghan. Jeonghan enlisted in September of last year and is currently fulfilling his alternative service duties.
