Oh My Girl’s Arin will be attending the Cannes International Series Festival with the drama ‘S Line.’

On April 3rd, the production team of ‘S Line’ (produced by Sidus, directed by Ahn Joo-young) announced that the drama has been officially invited to the long-form competition section of the Cannes International Series Festival (April 24th – 29th). Arin, as the lead actress, will attend and walk the festival’s red carpet. ‘S Line’ is based on the webtoon of the same name and tells the story of a red line – nicknamed ‘S Line’ – that appears above people’s heads, connecting those who have had sexual relationships regardless of time, place, or relationship. The drama also stars Lee Soo-hyuk and Lee Da-hee.

In the drama, Arin plays ‘Hyeon-heub,’ a high school student who can see the S Line from birth, and is expected to showcase a 180-degree transformation from her previous roles, demonstrating both visual appeal and a darker, more nuanced acting performance.

Arin has been steadily building her acting filmography through roles in tvN dramas ‘Alchemy of Souls’ and ‘O’PENing 2023 – Summer, Love Machine Blues,’ the film ‘Mad Dance Office,’ and the drama ‘My Boyfriend is a Superhuman.’ ‘S Line’ is solidifying her position as an actress. As a member of Oh My Girl, she is also celebrating the group’s 10th anniversary with the release of a special single ‘Oh My’ on April 9th and a solo concert ‘2025 OH MY GIRL CONCERT ‘Milky Way’’ on April 19th and 20th, showcasing remarkable activity in both acting and music.

Arin shared her feelings, saying, “I am deeply honored and overwhelmed that our ‘S Line,’ a precious work created by our director, senior actors, fellow actors, and all the staff, has been invited to such a meaningful and grateful event. I hope that the Cannes International Series Festival will bring good energy and good things to the ‘S Line’ project this year.”

Meanwhile, the drama ‘S Line’ will compete against long-form competition entries from around the world at the closing ceremony on April 29th (local time) and is scheduled for release in Korea in 2025.
