NCT WISH Infuses Y2K Sensibility into Second Mini Album 'poppop'

NCT WISH (under SM Entertainment) expresses the Y2K aesthetic through the bright and energetic charm of Gen Z in their second mini album, 'poppop'.

The album’s track, ‘Design’, is an R&B dance-pop song with a 2000s vibe. Energetic kicks, bass, and detailed sounds create a simple yet flexible flow, and vocal harmonies that unfold according to changes in composition add to the listening experience. The lyrics contain a message hoping to freely express each individual’s hidden charm and sensibility, conveying NCT WISH’s unique positive energy. Another track, ‘1000’, is a dance song that mixes R&B and Jersey Club genres. The constantly changing arrangement from verse to chorus adds to the listening pleasure, and as a cute confession song about folding 1000 paper cranes to express one’s feelings for a loved one, it’s enough to feel NCT WISH’s lively and bouncy Gen Z sensibility. NCT WISH’s second mini album 'poppop' will be released on various global music platforms at 6 PM on April 14th, containing a total of 6 songs including the title track of the same name, 'poppop', 'Design', and '1000', allowing fans to experience NCT WISH’s refreshing music.
