ONEW Successfully Concludes Taipei Solo Concert ‘CONNECTION’ and Unveils Live Performance of New English Single ‘MAD’

SHINee member ONEW successfully connected with his global fans, affectionately known as “jjingu,” at his solo concert ‘2025 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE : CONNECTION]’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘CONNECTION’) held in Taipei.

‘CONNECTION’ is ONEW’s newly launched brand concert series, designed to showcase his continuous growth as a solo artist through evolving sub-titles. The concert intricately wove together ONEW’s solo tracks released under his name into four distinct sections, encompassing his past, present, and future, adding to the emotional impact.

Furthermore, ONEW demonstrated his dedication to his fans by actively communicating with them in the local language, showcasing his genuine affection. He captivated the audience with his diverse charms, ranging from a youthful appearance to a more mature presence, all delivered through a full band live performance that transformed the venue into a sea of green, representing his fandom color.

The concert also marked the live debut of ONEW’s first English single, “MAD,” scheduled for release on April 21st. The song honestly portrays the emotions of falling in and out of love, blending warm acoustic guitar melodies with raw drum textures and ONEW’s rich vocals to maximize the song’s emotional depth. Fans responded enthusiastically, holding up slogans reading “MAD FOR ONEW” and passionately singing along to the chorus following ONEW’s lead.

Following the successful Taipei concert, ONEW shared his heartfelt feelings, saying, “Through today’s performance, I once again felt connected to all of you, jjingu. As long as we are connected, I believe there is no limit to our happiness. Thank you for making me endlessly happy. I will continue to work hard to be someone who can bring you the same joy.”

Having captivated audiences in Seoul, Japan, and Taipei, ONEW will continue his ‘CONNECTION’ tour in Macau on April 20th. He will then embark on a North American tour, starting with New York on April 24th, and performing in eight cities across the continent, further accelerating his global activities.
