UNIS Teases a Playful and Witty Concept with Latest Photos for ‘SWICY’ Comeback

Girl group UNIS is heightening anticipation for their comeback with a final set of concept photos showcasing a fresh and playful mood.

UNIS (Jinhyunju, Nana, Jellydangca, Kotoko, Bang Yunha, Elisicia, Oh Yuna, Im Seowon) unveiled the ‘Swicy Cook’ version of concept photos for their second mini-album ‘SWICY’ at midnight on April 7th through their official social media channels. The photos present a novel atmosphere, diverging from the group’s previous school-look and country-style white aesthetics. Utilizing bright and vivid colors, the images emphasize UNIS’s free-spirited and youthful energy. 

The playful expressions and relaxed poses of the eight members further accentuate UNIS’s quirky and charming appeal.

UNIS’s second mini-album ‘SWICY’ reflects a newly emerging global trend. ‘SWICY’ is a neologism representing the harmonious blend of ‘Spicy’ and ‘Sweet,’ mirroring the growing international popularity of Korean cuisine that combines both flavors.

UNIS embodies the ‘SWICY’ concept by portraying the naturally charming duality of teenage girls – sometimes spicy, sometimes sweet. Through music and styling distinctly different from their previous work, the album captures the honest and confident emotions of Real Gen-Z.

UNIS’s new album ‘SWICY’ will be released on April 15th at 6 PM KST across all music streaming platforms.
