BTS Jimin Achieves Historic 90th Week at No. 1 on Spotify Korea Artist Chart
BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) Jimin has set a new historic record, achieving his 90th week at No. 1 on the Spotify Korea Artist Chart.
According to the latest chart update from the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify, Jimin maintained his top position on the Spotify Korea ‘Weekly Top Artists’ chart, marking his 90th week at No. 1. This is a first and unparalleled achievement in the chart’s history. Jimin first entered the Spotify ‘Korea Weekly Top Artists’ chart in the last week of April 2022 with the OST ‘With You’ for the tvN drama ‘Our Blues,’ and as of April 3rd, has been on the chart for a total of 139 weeks. Among those weeks, he has held the top spot for 90 weeks, demonstrating his unmatched popularity.
On the Spotify Korea ‘Daily Top Artists’ chart, Jimin recorded his 613th No. 1 as of April 3rd, extending his record as the artist with the most No. 1s on the chart. The title track ‘Who’ from Jimin’s second solo album ‘MUSE’ debuted at No. 1 on the Spotify Korea ‘Daily Top Songs’ chart immediately upon release and has remained at the top for 259 consecutive days as of the latest chart on April 3rd, despite no official promotional activities. It is also currently in its 37th consecutive week at No. 1 on the ‘Weekly Top Songs’ chart.
Meanwhile, Jimin topped Spotify’s ‘Global Impact List’ in the second half of 2024, which selects the most streamed Korean music overseas, with ‘Who,’ followed by ‘Like Crazy’ (5th), ‘Slow Dance’ (19th), ‘Reverse’ (22nd), and ‘Interlude : Showtime’ (28th), placing a total of five songs on the list and showcasing his world-class presence.
