EXO’s Kai Showcases Unique Style in New Album ‘Wait On Me’

EXO member Kai is making a comeback after two years with a new mini-album that embodies his increasingly mature musical identity.

Kai’s fourth mini-album, ‘Wait On Me,’ set to be released on the 21st, features a total of seven tracks, including the title track of the same name. The album is filled with danceable tracks that immediately evoke Kai’s image as a ‘world-class performer,’ generating high expectations for a positive response. One of the album’s tracks, ‘Pressure,’ is a pop song built on an 808 bass and rhythmic Latin trap beat, enhanced by the serene quality of a flute. The lyrics explore the inner strength found in feeling comfortable even amidst pressure.

Furthermore, ‘Off and Away’ is a pop song rooted in Afrobeats, characterized by its exotic melody and unique vocal percussion elements. The lyrics depict the internal conflict of wanting to hold onto a lost connection while simultaneously succumbing to the realities of the situation.

Kai’s fourth mini-album, ‘Wait On Me,’ will be fully available on all music streaming platforms on April 21st at 6 PM.
