The group (G)I-DLE will illuminate 'ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS 2025 presented by zozotown' (ASEA 2025).
The ASEA 2025 organizing committee officially announced on April 14th that (G)I-DLE has confirmed their appearance on May 29th at the event, which will be held on May 28th and 29th at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan.
Last year, (G)I-DLE topped domestic and international music charts with the title track 'Super Lady' from their second full album '2'. In particular, the album's track 'Fate' caused a remarkable reverse sweep on various charts, achieving long-term dominance at the top of Melon's TOP 100 chart, ranking 2nd in Melon's annual chart, 1st in Genie Music's annual chart, and 1st in the longest-charting K-Pop song category on Tencent Music.
With their 7th mini album 'I SWAY' and its title track 'Klaxon', they also swept the top spot on iTunes charts worldwide, including in Japan, solidifying their position as a 'global music powerhouse'. Recognizing these achievements, (G)I-DLE won their first grand prize (Record of the Year) at the 'MMA' (Melon Music Awards) in November last year, after six years and several months since their debut. Simultaneously with the grand prize win, their agency, Cube Entertainment, announced a full group renewal, foreshadowing a leap towards a wider stage and greater heights.
The newly added setlist for the encore concert also provided a different kind of enjoyment. INFINITE shared their excitement, saying, "We are so happy to be able to present new songs at this performance," and performed the title track 'Dangerous' and tracks 'I Like You So Much', 'Umbrella', 'Sad Loop', and 'Still Beautiful' from their 8th mini album 'LIKE INFINITE', released last month, further igniting the enthusiasm of the fans.
