BTS’s Jin to Release Second Mini Album ‘Echo’ on May 16th
Album Features 7 Tracks Showcasing Diverse Vocals
BTS’s Jin is set to return with a new album on May 16th.
Jin will release his second mini album, ‘Echo,’ at 1 PM KST on May 16th. This marks his comeback approximately 6 months after the release of his first solo album, ‘Happy,’ last November. Jin decided on a quick comeback, expressing his desire to see his fans more often. Meanwhile, a surprise video of Jin was screened at 6 AM KST on April 15th at K-POP SQUARE MEDIA in COEX, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In the video, Jin held up a placard with the new album release date, ‘May 16th,’ in front of a crane game machine filled with dolls, capturing attention. In particular, Jin’s unique visuals, filling the largest LED screen in Korea, left a strong impression.
Big Hit Music, his agency, stated, "We planned this promotion with the hope of informing fans of Jin’s comeback in a different way and for everyone to enjoy the wait. Please show a lot of interest and anticipation for Jin and ‘Echo.’” The video is scheduled to be screened every 30 minutes from 6 AM to 11:30 PM KST from April 15th to 19th.
