EXO’s Kai to Release New Mini Album ‘Wait On Me’ – Key Points to Anticipate

EXO’s Kai (SM Entertainment) is set to release his fourth mini album, ‘Wait On Me,’ on April 21st. Ahead of the release, a variety of promotions and rich content related to the album have been unveiled daily, amplifying interest in Kai. Here’s a look at why Kai’s comeback is highly anticipated.

The album features a total of seven tracks, including the title track ‘Wait On Me,’ which utilizes the rhythm of Afrobeats, as well as the pop song ‘Walls Don't Talk’ in a reggaeton style, ‘Pressure’ with its prominent Latin trap beat, ‘Ridin’ with its attractive techno/hip-hop drums, ‘Off and Away’ based on Amapiano, the upbeat pop song ‘Adult Swim,’ and ‘Flight to Paris’ with its impressive Jersey club beat.

This is Kai’s first new release in two years since his third mini album ‘Rover’ in 2023, and the album was completed with the ambition to redefine and showcase a more mature ‘Kai style.’ The music featured on the album represents contrasting moods – restraint and explosion, freshness and sexiness, intensity and softness – and with each track possessing a distinctive beat, it sparks anticipation for imagining Kai’s performance with each song.
