NCT Mark's Surprise Visit to China Pop-up Draws 4,000 Fans, Showcasing His Popularity

A pop-up event commemorating the release of NCT Mark's (SM Entertainment) first solo album is being successfully held in China.

The pop-up for Mark's first solo album 'The Firstfruit' is being held at Jingdong Mall in Guangzhou, China, from April 19th to 25th. In collaboration with China's largest music platform, QQ Music, the event provides a space for local fans to fully enjoy the album, garnering a hot response. The pop-up consists of an exhibition space showcasing the album concept images, a photo zone for commemorative photos, and a guest book zone for fans to send messages of support to Mark. The shopping mall's internal and external electronic displays are also decorated with Mark's images, capturing the attention of passersby.

Notably, despite no prior announcement, Mark made a surprise visit to the pop-up on April 21st, instantly attracting over 4,000 fans and filling the five-story shopping mall, demonstrating his strong local popularity even as a solo artist.

Furthermore, Mark filmed the '1999' dance challenge with the 4,000 fans gathered at the event, creating a buzz. He also shared his feelings with the fans, saying, "Thank you for supporting my first solo album. I will work hard to become an even better person in the future," creating a warm atmosphere.
